Terry and I were privileged to teach Oral English for nearly two years (four school semesters) in Jingzhou, Hubei, China.

When we left this University, we moved to Beijing, where Terry was enrolled in a university learning mandarin and we taught students in our homes at night and on weekends. I also served as the minister of the government-approved Beijing church of Christ.
